Changing biogeography

Nantes to Lucon
104 km
693 m
Wonderful roads, first stop Menhir La Grand Roche
Then coffee stop at a tabac and funny chat with the regulars at the bar. The patron offered to top up my water bottle with Pernod . interesting changes from pasture and orchards to vines and sunflowers
Lucon is latin for pike and still shows in coat of arms and on the pavement. Used to be a port until marshes were drained and town rebuilt by Cardidal Richelieu
